Health is the foundation of everything, yet sedentary 3D artists often overlook it. This article focuses on health management for dinosaur modelers. Physical Health: Ergonomic workstation setup (monitor height, chair support, keyboard position), stand up and move for 5 minutes every hour, and follow the 20-20-20 eye rule (every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds) to prevent wrist and forearm strain from RSI. Mental Health: Reframe imposter syndrome, cope with creative blocks, prevent social isolation, and know when to seek professional help. Burnout Prevention: Set realistic expectations, celebrate small wins, maintain hobbies and social connections outside work, and take regular breaks to recharge. Nutrition and Sleep: Eat regularly, stay hydrated, get 7-8 hours of sleep, and limit caffeine. Exercise Plan: Aim for 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity plus 2 strength training sessions per week; swimming and yoga are excellent complementary exercises. Investing in your health yields a far greater return than any technical course.
